Stones, Cobbles & Setts

Cubes & Setts, Cobbles & Cobblestones. Well it really depends on your location and terminology as to what you may call them, the terms refer to natural stone hewn from a quarry. The stone may be Igneous such as basalts or granite which is very hard wearing created through heat and pressure or Sedimentary such as sandstone or yorkstone.

Call them what you may the stone will be thousands of years old, the practice was used by the Romans and we still walk and drive upon those creations.

You will find see them on Coronation Street and at the entrance of the Palace of Versailles, though out the streets of London and the streets of Rome you will find them at IBS reclaim for immediate delivery to your site or home.

The Natural choice for many landscape designers this material is very hardwearing, full of character and versatile in application from commercial to private use it can be incorporated with new or old materials to add texture, with both practical and functional use whilst able to stand out or blend in.
