Staddlestone - Faithfully reproduced from an old staddlestone (these were used years ago as a base for "straw ricks" to protect the grain from damp and vermin). These old stones are in two parts, with a base and a top, and are seen in rural areas all over the country. Made from our usual High Quality concrete and finished in Aged Cotswold colour, it is difficult to tell these from the real thing. The base section is 20cm x 20cm at the top x 48cm high, and can be sold separately. These are commonly used to line a drive or can be used as an individual garden feature.

Rare Denner Setts

IBS Reclaim are pleased to offer these extremely rare setts for sale. One of natures most beautiful products Denner Hill Setts, reclaimed from a property dating back to the early 18th century having been restored between 1871 & 1873.

This material was once the source of a flourishing local industry, dating back to at least the mid nineteenth century and earlier.
The best deposits of this stone were to the north of High Wycombe, - Bryant's Bottom, Denner Hill, North Dean, Naphill and Walter's Ash.

These blocks or boulders of hard sandstone were found at depths varying from six to sixty feet. They were located by workers probing the ground with long instruments known as "snipers".

The blocks varied in size, one at Walter's Ash was reported to be around twelve feet in height and weighing over three hundred and fifty tons.

These blocks were split to produce cobbles, kerbstone "setts", building blocks, river stepping stones, cottage door steps and gateposts.

Building blocks were used in the repair of Windsor Castle. Some streets, in both Windsor and Aylesbury, are paved with this stone.

Pine Flooring remains a firm favourite amongst our customers at IBS reclaim, our flooring is reclaimed from a variety of sites throughout the country with care for the product and surrounding enviroment to ensure our customer get the very best product and service.

We store the boards inside our warehouse and offer planning and machining for depth and width requirements.  Our current stock is 6 3/4" wide....

River God Wall Fountain

River God Wall Fountain with back drop & 1.8m horseshoe surround

The young River God with bulrush entwined hair is seated with curled tail, next to a turtle, blowing on a horn, against the backdrop and horseshoe surround, which is complimented by a rusted restraining band along the lower lip of the upper front edge.

Rising from a square base with great depth of relief.  The barley twist stem and naturalistic erosion to the main body and upper edge, surmounted by a hand antiqued lead sundial with gnomon.

Winged Lion Bench

A dramatic seat taken from the restoration project of a pair of buff terracotta originals attributed to Lambeth Doulton circa 1860.

With the magnificent heads rising from the lions claw base and flamboyant wings terminating at the top of the pillar support finial.
Back and seat are made of solid English oak

A fine bronze resin commemorative plaque inscribed with the clients own personal words is provided for within the price of this bench
